Digilit Club at Wendell Middle School

The Digilit Club meets once a month after school at Wendell Middle with the goal of helping students increase their digital literacy by exposing them to contemporary applications of technology. For example, students recently  learned about makerspaces and about coding through code.org. Also, students regularly use tools like TodaysMeet to communicate with each other during meetings.

On Sunday, February 1, you can join #nctlchat from 7:30p.m-8:30 p.m. to learn more about the club from Linda Dexter who will be sharing successes!

Details Make a Huge Difference

Classroom management is such a huge element of a flexible media space. Little organizational structures can make a tremendous impact. Colored carpet squares on the floor at Lynn Road facilitate team collaboration.

Colored squares are also on the computers in the library to streamline movement so students can be self directed when transitioning from one learning activity to another.
Thank you Jenny Taylor for sharing this great idea and allowing me to spend time with you and your stellar students at Lynn Road today!
